Emilia Clarke Joins Cast of Secret Invasion
According to a report published by Variety, Emilia Clarke is in final negotiations to join the cast of Marvel Studio’s Secret Invasion series on Disney+. Clarke is well-known for playing Daenerys Targaryen on the HBO Series, Game of Thrones.
Neither Marvel Studios nor Clarke’s representatives have commented on the news.

Who Else Has Joined the Cast?
Clarke will join a growing roster of well-known actors headlining the series. We know Samuel L. Jackson has signed on to reprise his MCU role, Nick Fury. We also know Ben Mendelsohn will play the Skull Talos, whom he originated in Captain Marvel.
Also joining the cast is Kingsley Ben-Adir and Olivia Colman.

About the Series
The Game of Thrones star’s role is being kept under wraps, as are the roles of several of her cast mates. That being said, we do know that Secret Invasion will be a sequel to Captain Marvel and Spiderman: Far From Home.
The Disney+ series will delve further into the tale of Skrulls, a group of shape-shifting aliens who have been on Earth for years. While we do not know specific characters, we do know Kingsley Ben-Adir will play the main villain.

Kyle Bradstreet will write and executive produce Secret Invasion. The series will join its Phase 4 MCU brethren, including WandaVision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier.
Secret Invasion is scheduled to debut on Disney+ with 6 episodes in its freshman season.
