If you can’t get enough of Kamala Khan, A.K.A, Ms. Marvel, we have some good news, Marvel Blog True Believers! She’ll be headlining her own original middle grade graphic novel, Ms. Marvel: Stretched Thin, which will be available beginning September 7th, 2021!

The Ms. Marvel: Stretched Thin original graphic novel will be written by Nadia Shammas and illustrated by Nabi H. Ali. The news was announced in a post on the Marvel website, and Ms. Marvel co-creator and long-time scribe G. Willow Wilson even took a short break from her Twitter hiatus to congratulate the new Kamala Khan creators.

The middle grade graphic novel, will be published by Graphix, the graphic novel imprint of Scholastic publishing. Even if you don’t realize it, you have probably heard of some of the comics that are published by this great imprint! They are behind the current series of graphic novel adaptations of Ann M. Martin’s classic series, The Baby-sitters Club, and they also publish the other extremely popular graphic novels by Raina Telgemeier, like Guts and Drama.

In Ms. Marvel: Stretched Thin, Kamala is having a hard time balancing all the disparate elements that make up her life. How do you manage to find the time and energy to be a good friend, manage your school classes, improve your fanfic writing skills, spending valuable time with your family, and on top of all that, be a freaking superhero?
That’s the challenge Kamala is facing in Ms. Marvel: Stretched Thin! Fortunately those pesky supervillains are usually pretty understanding when Peter Parker has too much on his plate to – wait, hold on, Marvel Blog True Believers! I’m getting an update… they do not go easy on Parker? Uh oh! Look out, Kamala!
