Secret Invasion’s Under Way!
The upcoming Secret Invasion series is based on the Marvel Comics event of the same name (don’t worry, Marvel Blog True Believers, we’ll be delivering several dossiers on the source material at our pre-established drop location, this blog, so keep your investigative eyes peeled for more information).

It will star Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), who first met in 2019’s Captain Marvel. In the comics event, the Skrulls are an evil invading force that replaces many of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes with copies who cannot be distinguished from the originals, well, until it’s too late!
It seems clear that Marvel Studios knows we kind of suspected that the Skrulls would be villains, and they subverted these expectations with the role Talos played in Captain Marvel.

Furthermore, Talos and the Skrulls have proven to be a valuable allies for Fury, having appeared in Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019) as agents in service to the spymaster. Just how this version of their relationship will play out in the Disney+ Secret Invasion series remains to be seen…
De-Classified Dossiers
Scott’s non-Marvel work includes appearing on the courtroom drama 61st Street on AMC, Dublin Murders on BBC/Starz, and Good Vibrations. However, if Deadline’s report is accurate and Scott does indeed join the cast of Secret Invasion, he’ll be in good company.

So far, what we know about the show mostly revolves around casting announcements. First, we learned Kingsley Ben-Adir would be joining the show.

Then, it was revealed that Olivia Colman would also be involved.
And most recently, we discovered that the Mother of Dragons herself, Emilia Clarke, would also be a part of the highly anticipated Disney+ series.
