Review: THOR & LOKI: DOUBLE TROUBLE #3 is TRIPLE fun!
Wow, Marvel Blog True Believers, every once in a while, there’s a comic that reminds you why you fell in love with those crazy Asgardian siblings in the first place, and if that isn’t Thor & Loki: Double Trouble #3 by Mariko Tamaki, Gurihiru, and Ariana Maher, then we don’t know what it could be!
As you can probably guess by the cover art, in the third issue of Thor & Loki: Double Trouble, Loki and Thor visit another world and meet another deity: Thor, the Goddess of Thunder!
Too Many Thors
Although you may not be aware of it (yet – you will be soon, thanks to the upcoming Thor: Love and Thunder), there is another version of Thor: Jane Foster! While the other, other Thor in Double Trouble probably isn’t the Goddess of Thunder we know from previous Marvel Comics (for one thing, her eyes have a different appearance), she is nevertheless a very welcome and familiar figure!
One thing I noticed about this issue is that it continued the tradition this series has taken part in, which is, as the title suggests, doubling at every corner!
In issue one, for example, we got not one but two Asgardian brothers.
Then, in issue two, the snake that had been summoned by Loki and Thor was doubled!
And while we don’t want to ruin anything for you, Marvel Blog True Believers, suffice to say that there’s yet another doubling in store for you as we approach the release of the fourth and final issue of Thor & Loki: Double Trouble…
Even More Asgardian Action!
Have you made a sojourn to your local comic shop in order to pick up your copies of the books in the Thor & Loki: Double Trouble series?
