TVA Spot: LOKI’s in Deep with the Authorities
In a new TV spot for Loki on Disney+, which was Tweeted by the @LokiOfficial Twitter account, we get to see just what will go into Loki’s conscription into service with the Time Variance Authority (TVA) on June 9th, 2021!

Time Variance Authority in Control
Over the course of the minute-long trailer, we get an idea of just what psychological techniques are utilized by the TVA in order to assert control over the God of Mischief.
As TVA mascot Miss Minutes explains in an American Southern accent in voice over, Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will be standing trial for his crimes.

In order to prepare for this, we see a robot strip him naked!

This scene somewhat evokes Thor’s unwilling haircut at the hands of the Sakaar’s barber (played by none other than the man himself, Stan Lee) in 2017’s Thor: Ragnarok.

In the next scene, he’s wearing the increasingly familiar TVA jumpsuit. Soon he’s standing in a mostly empty queue and questioning whether or not he’ll be compliant… but that’s before he sees one of the few other people in a jumpsuit being completely disintegrated for a failure to comply!

These glimpses of the draconian operating practices of the TVA not only provide a counter-balance for the comparatively charismatic Mobius M. Mobius (Owen Wilson), they help explain why the Asgardian trickster is successfully conscripted into the service of the organization.

Loki Arrives on Disney+ on June 9th
We don’t know about you, Marvel Blog True Believers, but we can’t wait for the arrival of Loki on Disney+ on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021!
