New Trailer for Shang-Chi Tonight!
A new trailer for the much-anticipated Marvel film, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will premiere tonight!

The trailer will make its debut during the NBA Countdown on ESPN. Marvel tweeted out a teaser this morning.

About Shang-Chi
Set to premiere in theaters on September 3, the plot of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has not been released. However, with Marvel beginning to promote the film in earnest, details are starting to emerge.
The new teaser trailer gives fans a look at the Mandarin using the power of the Ten Rings. The villain is making its debut in the MCU, played by Tony Leung. Leung is considered one of Asia’s most successful actors and has earned international recognition.

In the story of Shang-Chi, the Mandarin is named Wen-Wu. He is the father of the film’s titular character, a new hero to join the MCU franchise. The new, 15-second teaser clip shows Wen-Wu harness the powers of the Ten Rings.
First worn on fingers, Marvel updated the Ten Rings’ look to make them more like bangle bracelets. Wen-Wu wears five on each hand. You can see them in one of the new Hasbro Marvel Legends toy released in advance of the film.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings was announced back in 2019 at San Diego Comic Con. Coronavirus followed and most of the movie was filmed during the pandemic. Filming of Shang-Chi wrapped with not one positive case of COVID.
Furthermore, Marvel has been very vocal in its intention to ensure representation across the franchise. This film helps fulfill that promise by becoming the MCU’s first Asian-centered project.
