Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
The new poster centers the eponymous Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), wearing the ten rings that we saw fully debuted in the most recent trailer for the movie.
In addition, the poster features some of the supporting cast members, like Katy (Awkwafina) and Wenwu (Tony Leung Chiu-Wai).
Plus, is that the fight between Abomination (Tim Roth) and Shang-Chi in the poster’s background? And what’s going on with those two vehicles – another epic chase scene like Ant-Man and The Wasp?
New Featurette
In addition to the new poster for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, a new featurette was also released.

This two-minute video clip included footage of Marvel Studios Head-Boss-In-Charge Kevin Feige explaining that for Shang-Chi, they are returning to the “keystone event” that heralded the arrival of the MCU: Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) building the first Iron Man armor.
As you might recall, this event was tied to the Ten Rings organization, a group that played a role in Iron Man 3 (sort of… see the one-shot short film “All Hail the King” for additional clarification).
However, it seems like now we are going to fully explore the Ten Rings in Shang-Chi.
Iron Man Theory
But one thing we’ve noticed, Marvel Blog True Believers: one of the characters included in the Marvel Legends Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings line is Hologram Tony Stark.
This incarnation of the character is similar to a version of Iron Man from Marvel Comics, who takes the form of a hologram in an Iron Man suit after he is incapacitated during a climactic battle (sound familiar to anyone).
Given the connection Feige has mentioned between Shang-Chi and Iron Man, is it possible we could see the return of Stark… albeit in hologram form?
More Shang-Chi Please
Still not enough Shang-Chi for you, Marvel Blog True Believers? I don’t blame you. So check out this magazine cover from Empire Magazine‘s September 2021 issue:
