Who’s Who: T’Challa’s Ravagers Crew

Yondu’s Ravagers
At the beginning of the episode, in 1988, Yondu (Michael Rooker) and his team of Ravagers arrive on Earth to retrieve Ego’s offspring. However, instead of taking care of the dirty work himself, as he did in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 1, Yondu sends two familiar Ravagers in his steed.

The first Ravager is Kraglin Obfonteri (Sean Gunn).

This character first appeared in GotG, Vol. 1, and played an even larger role in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2. An interesting fact about Kraglin’s actor: he is James Gunn’s younger brother, who also appeared on both Guardians sets to perform the motion capture for Rocket.
And the second member of Yondu’s Ravagers is Taserface (Chris Sullivan). This character was introduced in GotG, Vol. 2, where he got a lot of guff for his name.

T’Challa’s Ravagers
As T’Challa grows to maturity, his influence on the broader universe begins to show through in the new additions to the Ravagers team.

First, in the opening scene of the episode, he meets Korath the Pursuer (Djimon Hounsou) on Morag. The character appeared in both Captain Marvel and GotG, Vol. 1, but he gets a larger role in this episode thanks to the fact that, after first having a fight, he is welcomed into T’Challa’s team of Ravagers… and he makes a great addition!

Next, you might be surprised to see that another member of T’Challa’s Ravagers is none other than Thanos (James Brolin), the Mad Titan himself!

What If…?
