New WHAT IF…? Poster Teases Marvel Zombies
In a Tweet sent on Thursday, August 5th, 2021, the official Marvel Studios’ What If…? Twitter account revealed a new poster by Simon Delart featuring The Watcher (Jeffery Wright) and many of the characters that will appear in the first season of the upcoming animated series on Disney+:

And then, on Friday, August 6th, 2021, the official account tweeted out another poster, this one by Chris Christodoulou, for what would appear to be the Marvel Zombies episode:

What If…?
Both posters give a tantalizing taste of what’s in store for us over the course of the first season of this upcoming animated series, the first episode of which will be released for streaming on Wednesday, August 11th, 2021.
This isn’t the first poster we’ve been treated to for What If…?, Marvel Blog True Believers! Earlier in the week, on Tuesday, August 3rd, we also saw an epic Captain Carter poster.

Part of what makes What If…? such an exciting proposition is the fact that each episode is a window into a whole new timeline, and these three posters are emphasizing that setup. All three have a very distinct flavor, and while they all feature somewhat familiar characters… they have all been subjected to a twist!
Marvel Zombies
We’ve already seen a hint of Marvel Zombies in Spider-Man: Far From Home, but it looks like we’re really going to get to spend some time with the undead in What If…?
