Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: The Album Drops
In an article posted on September 2nd, 2021 to the official Marvel Entertainment website, the complete track listing for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: The Album was revealed! Produced by Sean Miyashiro and 88rising, the eighteen track album is dropping today, September 3rd, 2021, the same time the movie arrives in theaters.

According to the article on the official Marvel website, 88rising worked closely with Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton to select the songs that are featured on the album.
“The music on this album is the beating heart of our film,” Cretton said in a quote included in Marvel’s coverage. “As we were editing Shang-Chi, we were constantly inspired by the early recordings coming in from these incredible musicians.”
Meanwhile, Miyashiro spoke on the personal inspirations behind the soundtrack, remarking that “[w]ith this album, I wanted to bring artists together to tell the stories of unconditional love and memories of growing up.”
Out of the eighteen songs on the album, twelve will appear in the film.
And the most devoted of Marvel Blog True Believers will have already heard a few of the singles off Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings: The Album, thanks to their inclusion in advertising for the movie, including “Run It” by DJ Snake, Rick Ross, and Rich Brian.
We also heard “Lazy Susan” by 21 Savage, Rich Brian, Warren Hue, and Masiwei.
In addition to the soundtrack, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings Original Score, featuring orchestral music by movie composer Joel P. West, will also be available at record stores beginning tomorrow.
