Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
Marvel Studios’ newest blockbuster, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, was released in theaters this past Friday, September 3rd, 2021.
Starring Simu Liu in the eponymous role, the movie quickly shattered box office records for Labor Day weekend, quickly earning nearly as much as the previous record holder (2007’s Halloween) by the conclusion of the first day of the four-day weekend. And ultimately, whomping that film’s record by the time the final box officer numbers rolled in.
