12 Eternals Stills Show Superhero Sartorial Superiority!
In an article posted to ComicBookMovie.com, twenty new stills from the upcoming Marvel Studios’ Eternals were released, and while these images seem to be official the imgbox host seems a little questionable for an official release. But, excitingly, these images give us a better look at the costumes for the superheroes that will make up the cast of the next Marvel Cinematic Universe movie, written and directed by the Oscar-winning Chloé Zhao and, like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, set to release exclusively in theaters (in spite of the ongoing global COVID-19 pandemic) on November 5th, 2021.

Eternals
Previously, we’ve gotten a few glimpses of the costumes worn by the eponymous Eternals, thanks to things like the digital Entertainment Weekly covers featuring the new Marvel characters.
For example, this fan (me) got an excellent glimpse of the hero she is most excited to come to the big screen: the MCU’s first Deaf superhero Makkari, played by deaf actress Lauren Ridloff.

However, these images are of extremely high resolution, allowing you to see every single detail of the brand-new costumes.
Let’s all just oooo and awww for a moment over Gemma Chan‘s Sersi costume for a moment, alright?

And in addition to the superhero costumes, there are also multiple images of the characters in their “street clothes,” so you can get an overall sense of the style of the movie.

The newly released images include both on-set pictures, some of which include Zhao in conversation with the actors, as well as shots that appear as though they might be taken directly from the film.

In addition to the images of the characters in costume, there is also a picture of the enormous spacecraft seen in the teaser trailer.
However, these images include very few hints about what the Deviants, the antagonists of the movie, might actually look like, we just know what the very big (and very tiny) ship to take them down will look like…

Arriving in Theaters Soon
Eternals costume designer Saran Kohli has already spoken about how excited he was to be involved in the next MCU movie.
Plus, thanks to things like Kumail Nanjani meeting Iron Man at Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure in Anaheim, California, it’s clear that the cast couldn’t be more excited about joining the wider MCU!
