David Kaye Plays a HUGE Role in Eternals!
In a Tweet sent by Comics Beat reporter Taimur Dar on Wednesday, October 27th, 2021, the role played by David Kaye in Eternals, arriving in theaters on Friday, November 5th, 2021, was spotlighted!
While this is hardly on the scale of some of the other Eternals spoilers that have been flying around the internet, we do understand that some Marvel Blog True Believers want to avoid any information about the next big-screen entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If that’s you, then go ahead and leave this article now!
Who Kaye Plays
In the tweet sent by Dar, it was noted that Kaye plays the role of Arishem the Celestial.
Hold on!

This scene-stealing character is already on our radar (even though I wasn’t one of the spoiler-prone reporters invited to the big Hollywood red carpet premiere). This is thanks to one of our most reliable avenues for getting additional information about the newest MCU entries: the LEGO sets!
In one of these sets, “The Eternals in Arishem’s Shadow,” you can build a version of the scene that will feature Kaye as the enormous entity.
Plus, this is not the first hint of a Celestial that we have gotten in the MCU: in 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 1, we saw that the Collector (Benicio Del Toro) had taken up residence in the floating head of a dead Celestial, otherwise known as Knowhere.
And this is far from Kaye’s first Marvel work, having appeared on TV shows like the 2015 animated Guardians of the Galaxy and video games like Marvel vs. CAPCOM: Infinite (2017).
Thx so much @Marvel fans and the whole crew including @harrisonwilcox @katiekanoosk and all at Marvel. @DisneyXD #BlackPanthersQuest viewing party at Marvel HQ tonight. #RIPZemo #RIPCap pic.twitter.com/8IBqOT172L
