DISNEY+ DAY: Agatha Harkness Returns in Agatha: House of Harkness
In one of the many announcements and confirmations coming your way today, Friday, November 12, 2021 — better known in some circles as “Disney+ Day” — the first official logo for Agatha: House of Harkness was revealed.

Agatha All Along
While we were first introduced to Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness under the guise of innocuous nosey neighbor Agnes, her true witchy identity was revealed in the show-stopping conclusive scene of the antepenultimate episode of WandaVision, “Breaking the Fourth Wall.”

Soon, the internet had been set ablaze with people reveling in the incredible Agatha All Along theme song (and hey, Marvel Blog True Believers – think of the theme song potential for House of Harkness)!
It wasn’t long before fans were demanding more Agatha, and Marvel Studios Head Boss in Charge Kevin Feige was happy to oblige, telling us that “Agatha’s not done yet.”

Next, it was revealed that a Harkness-lead spinoff was in the works from WandaVision head writer Jac Schaeffer.
But what shape will the spinoff take? We’ve got some thoughts, Marvel Blog True Believers.
Pleasant Hill
I’m willing to bet dollars to donuts that Agatha: House of Harkness will draw from the 2016 Marvel Comics crossover event, Welcome to Pleasant Hill. This story saw S.H.I.E.L.D. using a Cosmic Cube in order to “rewrite” supervillains, turning them into average suburban citizens… at least, until the supervillains begin to realize something is amiss and begin to wake up. Could this be what happens to Agatha after Wanda “traps” her in the Agnes persona in the series finale of WandaVision? I have a sneaking suspicion!

Want some conclusive evidence on this score? Then watch the episode of Marvel Studios: Assembled featuring WandaVision. In this behind-the-scenes feature, you can plainly see that the street on which Wanda and Agatha made their residence inside the Westview Hex intersects with a street called “Pleasant Hill.” Coincidence? I don’t think so, Marvel Blog True Believers!
