“A Very Spidey Christmas” for Spidey and His Amazing Friends
In an article posted to the official Marvel website on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021, the vice president of original programming at Disney Junior, Lori Mozilo, answered interview questions from former Marvel editor MacKenzie Cadenhead about all sorts of topics, from childhood obsessions to theme park ride preferences (hint: her favorite ride matches Walt’s). Plus, it’s all to celebrate the holiday episode of Spidey and His Amazing Friends, “A Very Spidey Christmas”!
“A Very Spidey Christmas”
In the clip that was released alongside the interview, Doctor Octopus is using a hovering sleigh in order to steal holiday gifts from the customers who are getting their holiday shopping done at the mall. Fortunately, that’s when the Spider-Team shows up! However, as they face off against Doc Ock, she reveals that she’s installed some upgrades in the mall Christmas Tree!
However, if there’s any trio of superheroes who can stand up against a giant Octopus-upgraded Christmas Tree, it must be Spider-Man, Ghosty, and Spin! Ultimately, they’re able to defeat the tree, and as they turn against Doc Ock, the theme song (by Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy) begins to play!
