New Carnage Comic Arriving in March
In an article posted to the official Marvel website on Tuesday, December 16th, 2021, it was announced that Ram V and Francesco Manna will be part of the creative team that will be working on Carnage #1, arriving on March 2nd, 2022… just in time for the murderous symbiote’s 30th anniversary!
Carnage is Coming
‘Tis the season… for upcoming Marvel Comics series to be revealed! The way solicitations work in comics, the titles are announced about three months in advance, in order to allow readers and shops enough time to place their orders.
One aspect of this process is that, while we get to learn the writer and main artist on the series, we often don’t get to learn who the colorist and letterer will be until closer to the comic’s release date (or when the colorist or the letter announces that they’re attached to the project, as when Ariana Maher Tweeted that she was part of the Fantastic Four: Full Circle creative team).

As far as Carnage goes, he has recently been seen in the Extreme Carnage event, which we reviewed here at Marvel Blog (as the most devoted of Marvel Blog True Believers will surely recall). At the conclusion of that event, Carnage was at large, and as nasty as ever… if not more nasty!
“This Carnage story is very likely to become the most twisted thing I’ve written,” V said in a quote included in the official write-up. Sounds like fun, Marvel Blog True Believers!
New Marvel Comics in March 2022
Carnage #1 won’t be the only symbiote story that starts in spring 2022 over at Marvel Comics! Venom: Lethal Protector, which will include writing by Venom’s co-creator, David Michelinie.
Will you be heading to your Local Comic Shop (LCS) to pick up either of these titles when they’re released in March 2022? We want to hear from you, Marvel Blog True Believers! Share your thoughts with us in the comment section.
