The Power of Light
The most devoted of Marvel Blog True Believers will already be aware of the partnership between Marvel Comics and Citizen, which has yielded some truly impressive timepieces. But now, both companies are shining the spotlight on the Marvelous jewelry thanks to this free-to-read comic.
As you probably expect from a comic that is advertising a watch, this story concerns time! It all begins when Heimdall sends Thor to investigate something, which turns out to be a bunch of Skrulls! Thor is ready to attack, but the Skrull leader, Lyder’is, convinces him to listen to his tale. It turns out the Skrulls are refugees from a utopia that won’t even be founded for four hundred more Earth years!
One of my favorite panels in this comic, which looked great all around, involved Thor getting an idea – but because he’s Asgardian, a torch, not a lightbulb, appears above his head! And the story even finds occasion to bring Storm in, and it is always a delight to see Ororo. Plus, as we all know, a team-up between Thor and Storm is always an occasion!
