Moon Knight #6
This was a great issue that allowed us to check in on Moon Knight’s development over the first six issues of this series, and the development of the Midnight Mission, providing a solid foundation for whatever it is that happens next.
In particular, I appreciate the way that the different characters who have been introduced over the course of this series have changed their positions and developed as individuals since the first issue.
In the case of Reese, the vampire assistant who has been working for Moon Knight since the first issue, we see how Marc has grown to be an important figure in her life – one she is even willing to take great risks in order to protect.
And in the case of “the other fist of Khonshu,” Badr, who is something of a character foil for Marc, we see how recognizes the value in the high regard in which Reese holds Moon Knight.
Finally, in the final panels of this issue, we see how the Midnight Mission has quickly become an invaluable fixture in the neighborhood community… and we thanks to the fact that the citizens help clean up after the damage dealt by Zodiac, we see that the community already understands this to be true.
All this puts Moon Knight in a very interesting position, creating an incredible foundation for the next stage of this story!
