‘Moon Knight’ Actor Gaspard Ulliel Passes Tragically at 37

It is with a heavy heart that we report that the Award-Winning French actor Gaspard Ulliel has tragically passed at the age of 37 after suffering a critical injury during a ski accident.

Known for his role in Hannibal Rising, Saint Laurent, and It’s Only The End of The World. Ulliel was a critically acclaimed French actor, having won Cesar Awards (France’s national film award) for Most Promising Actor and Best Actor while being nominated in many others.

The news of the French actors death sent waves of grief throughout his native France, with fellow costars to politicians offering their condolensces for the lost of the exceptional actor.

The prime minister of France Jean Castex lamented the loss of such a great French actor, noting how much Ulliel enjoyed the cinema and how much the cinema loved him.

Those Ulliel worked with were just as dismayed at the devastating passing. From fellow French actors, to costars, writers, and directors, Ulliel touched a number of lives related to cinema.

Peter Webber who directed Ulliel in Hannibal Rising had nothing but good things to say about Ulliel, reminiscing of the fond memories he had when he worked with Ulliel.

While Moon Knight will hit Disney + on March 30th, along with the film Plus Que Jamais (More Than Ever), it will be one of his last acting performances as he takes the role of Anton Mogart the “Midnight Man”.

While many await to see what his character does in the highly anticipated moon knight , it is not an easy pill to swallow losing such a gifted actor at such a young age.

Gaspard Ulliel will surely be missed.
