‘Morbius’ Debuts Brand New Poster
The often delayed Marvel film is finally set to premiere in just over a month, and excitement has just increased as Morbius debuts a brand new poster!
There have been few films that have suffered from the pandemic era as much as Sony’s next installment in its Spider-Man universe of films; Morbius.
The Jared Leto starring film has been pushed back an incredible amount of times; now set to premiere more than a year after its intended release date.
Still, the film has been met with increasing anticipation from fans and tells the story of Michael Morbius, a scientist suffering from a life-threatening condition that he corrects with an unknown method that has some frightening side effects.
Morbius the Living Vampire is the lesser-known Spider-Man villain that first rose to prominence in an episode of the 1994 Spider-Man animated series; showcasing the sympathetic nature of the character and his desire to ultimately be of service to society.
It is an incredibly complex role for Leto and a character that is defined by the contradiction inherent within himself.
His quest to aid humanity as a doctor committed to researching these seemingly incurable diseases, is derailed by his own affliction that gives him an unquenching thirst for human blood.
The poster brings Leto’s Morbius front and center, displaying his sonar senses- as seen in the trailer- with a very cool look into the haunting red eyes of the character.

Also displaying some clips we’ve seen of the character through various trailers- such as his attack on military personnel, and his ability to fly is shown in the subway- with the first look at some of the other appearances set for the film.
Tyrese Gibson, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, and Jared Harris all being shown on the poster, seemingly pointing to them all having fairly. significant roles in the film.
Despite the continued delay of the film due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it appears as though the film is slated to finally hit theaters on April 1st, exclusively in theaters.
