Marvel Announces a Brand New Ant-Man Miniseries to Celebrate the Characters 60th Anniversary

Marvel is celebrating an iconic birthday with a recent debut limited run as Marvel announces a brand new Ant-Man miniseries to celebrate the character’s 60th anniversary!

There are few characters as adored as the pint-sized Marvel hero known as Ant-Man; a hero with the power to get incredibly small.

There has always been a sort of endearing love from Marvel fans for the character, and his persevering legacy has led to him being one of the most recognizable and consistent Marvel heroes for decades.

Now, celebrating his 60th anniversary, Marvel has announced a brand new Ant-Man miniseries to bring a new Ant-Man story to readers and fans of the beloved character.

Brought to life by the brilliant writer Al Ewing, and the fantastic artist Tom Reilly, the series will be a four-issue limited run, and will launch this June!

What is maybe the coolest aspect of the limited series is that every new issue will feature a different Ant-Man as the centerpiece of the story; allowing the duo to explore some of the iconic, and lesser-known, characters who have embraced the mantle.

In a post about the upcoming project, artist Tom Reilly wrote that “Every issue will feature a different Ant-Man from throughout Marvel’s history, including one from the far-flung future that you’ve never seen before.”

The recently debut Future Ant-Man design was revealed by Reilly himself, and gave fans their first look at the brand new Marvel hero, with a design minimalistic in conception, it was perfect for a character like Ant-Man.

With Hank Pym, Scott Lang, and others assumed to be the focus of one of the four limited runs, fans can certainly expect both a brand new exploration into the character they love and familiarity with just two of these various characters are.

We cannot wait for the debut coming this June, and we are so excited to see the small ways in which Marvel celebrates the 60 years of Ant-Man in the Marvel Universe.
