One of the consistently beloved heroes of the Marvel universe, Strange is a character who has gone toe to toe with some of Marvel’s most menacing magical villains and defined a new realm of what Marvel comics were capable of.
With Marvel comics cans currently experiencing the long-running Death of Doctor Strange that saw Clea take up the mantle as the new Sorcerer Supreme, and embrace the battle against the evil mystic power hidden within the Universe, Marvel has announced a new series coming this month!

Doctor Strange: Nexus of Nightmares #1 promises to live up to its name, as the iconic Doctor Strange is set to go toe to toe with some of the most recognizable members of his vast rogue’s gallery, including Nightmare, and Baron Mordo.
With both characters heavily rumored to appear in the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the upcoming limited series could be a fantastic opportunity for new readers of the character to get acquainted with these hauntingly villainous characters.

The Marvel.com press release for the upcoming issue states that “the upcoming one-shot will journey to the past with a never before told saga that presents Doctor Strange at his spellbinding best.”
The upcoming series will bring back Marvel legend Ralph Macchio and artist Ibrahim Mostafa in a series that should be able to both serve as a great entry point for readers curious about the character, and craft a new adventure for long-time Doctor Strange fans.

The series is billed as the perfect one-shot, stand-alone, tale; with comic book fans of all walks being able to enjoy a story of Doctor Strange that doesn’t rely as much on continuity and overarching narrative plotlines.
Fans can expect a wonderfully written story, with Mostafa bringing the mystical action to life on every page in an experience that should thrill the most intense Doctor Strange fans, and enthrall those who want to know the character better before the upcoming Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
