Charlie Cox Reveals Who He Wants Daredevil to Team Up With in the MCU
With his return to Marvel coming in the reprisal of the MAtt Murdoch character in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Charlie Cox reveals who he wants Daredevil to team up with within the MCU.
There are few characters who have left an indelible mark on the Marvel Cinematic Universe than that of Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdoch.
The eponymous character in the Marvel Netflix collaborations shined bright in three seasons and remains one of the best Marvel series ever created and received critical acclaim that was previously unmatched by the Marvel series.
Marvel’s Phase Four saw Charlie Cox’s return into the world of the MCU- along with Wilson Fisk’s villainous debut in the Disney+ series Hawkeye– and brought with it endless possibilities as to just what could behold the characters return.
recently the actor spoke about his future in the MCU, specifically who he wants Daredevil to team up within the MCU
In an interview with ComicBook.com, Cox stated, “I really like the Black Widow, the Daredevil/ Black Widow stuff. That relationship is really funny to me, U don’t know why. I find it really funny and sexy at the same time.”
Cox also noted that he wants to see, “The obvious one” in a Daredevil and Spider-Man team-up, but also noted the villains he hopes that Daredevil is able to interact with in the future.
The actor noted that he, “would have to get more time with Bullseye,” as Cox, “really enjoyed working with Wilson Bethel in that character.”
Bringing back Bullseye in some capacity feels like a must for the MCU, as he remains one of Daredevil’s most well-known villains, and has stayed an iconic villain, and character, in the source material.
With Yelena Belova potentially taking up the Black Widow Mantle, a relationship- and at the very least, interactions- between the two would be very interesting considering the tremendous talent that is present in both Florence Pugh and Charlie Cox.
At the very least, we would adore seeing Tom Holland’s Spider-Man and Cox’s Daredevil team up in a duo that has long been one of Marvel Comics’ most interesting
