Composer Michael Giacchino Confirmed to Direct Marvel’s ‘Werewolf By Night’
In what has been fairly shocking news, the upcoming Disney+ Halloween Special has found its director, as famed composer Michael Giacchino is confirmed to direct Marvel’s Werewolf By Night.
One of the most interesting projects that has been rumored for much of the past few months has been the upcoming Disney+ Haloween special that will likely center around Marvel’s resident wolfman: known better to comic book fans as Werewolf by Night.

The character is an interesting case, as the anti-hero is everything that one would assume by the title; with his debut in the MCU planned for the Halloween season, and on the famed Disney exclusive streaming service.
The project has now found its director, and an unlikely choice at that, as famed composer Michael Giacchino, has been confirmed to direct Marvel’s Werewolf By Night story for Disney+.

Giacchino is most recently known for his chilling and awe-inspiring score on the wonderfully received The Batman and has made a name for himself with his vast and fantastic work.
The beloved composer is slated as the creative force being the scores for upcoming blockbuster films Jurrasic World: Dominion, and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness; with the upcoming Halloween Special standing as another collaboration with Marvel Studios.

There is little known about the upcoming film, only that it is assumed to center on Marvel Werewolf by Night storyline, which first began in the 1970s with the first character to hold the mantle, aptly named Jack Russell.
Gael Garcia Bernal and Laura Donnelly have been tabbed to play the lead roles in the upcoming project, with many assuming the former will be portraying Jake Gomez, a Hopi and Mexican man who was more recently introduced as the Werwofl character in the source material.

With the supernatural-centered story, there is no guessing just what could happen, or who could appear; but with the previous format of the MCU, it is not out of the realm of possibility to imagine a world that sees Marvel Werewolf return in future Marvel projects.
