Netflix ‘The Adam Project’ Features a Marvel Easter Egg You May have Missed
The popular new release from streaming giant Netflix features a nod to the MCU as The Adam Project features a Marvel easter egg you may have missed.
Ryan Reynolds and Mark Ruffalo are two of the most beloved performers in the vast MCU and are responsible for two of the most iconic Marvel characters that it has to offer.
Deadpool and Hulk bring to life the beloved Marvel heroes in two very different ways, as the former is known and defined by his more raunchy and expletive-laden films, with Ruffalo’s Hulk being the tamer and more endeared hero of the MCU.
The two actors recently joined forces in the highly anticipated The Adam Project, a film that follows the title character in a time-traveling adventure that is a beautiful homage to some of the most loved sci-fi films of all time.
Ryan Reynolds plays the character of Adam, with Rufallo playing him rather of the past, Louis Reed, with the two characters portraying the leads for the well-received film.
However, it turns out that the duo didn’t let the film conclude without giving a nod to their contribution to the Marvel Universe, as it featured a Marvel Easter egg that you may have missed.
During a scene that shows a storage bin located in Adams garage, fans can spot what is clearly a Deadpool and Hulk sticker located on the lid.
It was a great easter egg because it referenced both the characters that Reynolds and Ruffalo play in the MCU respectively; with Deadpool seemingly coming along after Marvel has made clear their intention to go after The Adams Project director Shawn Levy.
It was very cool to see, and we can only hope that the duo of Levy and Reynolds can recreate the magi that they formulated on both The Adams Project and Free Guy; the duo’s two prior films.
