Marvel Debuts Brand New ‘Moon Knight’ Trailer That Introduces The Secret Agent of Marc Spector
A brand new look into Marvel’s newest Disney+ series gives fans a glimpse into the unsettled mind of the eponymous character, as the newest Moon Knight trailer introduces the secret agent Marc Spector.
There is perhaps no MCU series that has been as mysterious in its development as the latest Disney+ project, Moon Knight.
Following the Marvel comics character of the same name, Moon Knight is based around the former mercenary Marc Spector, who faces the struggle of his own mind as he is diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder.
Things get even more uncertain for Spector as he is given the power of the Egyptian moon god Khonshu, to fight for justice in the Marvel Universe as the vigilante known as Moon Knight.
To this point, a lot of the series’ promotional campaign has centered around the cockney alter ego of Spector known as Steven Grant; while Marvel’s latest trailer finally introduces the secret agent Marc Spector.
It appears the title character won’t be a mercenary in the live-action adaption, but it keeps with the idea of multiple personalities, as we can see Spector in constant discussion with himself, as he attempts to unravel what is real, and what is a result of his identity dysphoria
The latest trailer shows Steven Grant and Marc Spector discussing just what’s real, and the unfortunate reality of the main character’s present circumstance; a circumstance that will only get more consulted with the introduction of the superhero persona, Moon Knight.
The series promises to be one of Marvel’s most mature, and perhaps brutal, entities in their decade-long construction of the MCU; With Spector being prone to violence and mental instability as the defining traits of his character.
It will be interesting to see how the story unfolds for Spector, and how the creative team addresses his mental instability narratively, while also working in the traditional superhero story of the Moon Knight persona.
In other words, Marvel fans, we are in for one wild ride.
