One of the most exciting films of the MCU Phase Four slate is officially a step closer, as James Gunn shares a photo announcing that Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 has officially wrapped filming!
We say it all the time here at MarvelBlog, but it bears repeating; there is maybe not a single franchise in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that has been as vital to its growth as the Guardians of the Galaxy.

James Gunn has recently shared a photo announcing that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has officially wrapped filming; meaning its overcome the biggest step of the filmmaking process, and is that much closer to being ready for audiences.

Gunn posted the photo to Twitter with a caption that reads, “And that a picture wrap on the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy. I love this amazing cast & crew & their beautiful talent & kind souls. I’m a lucky human to have them on the journey with me for nearly a decade”
He then tweeted a second picture of Zoe Saldana and his partner, Jennifer Holland, writing, “(And yes Zoe was with us but the only picture I have with her has an unannounced actor with us!)”

It is likely that Holland has an unannounced role in the upcoming third film, with the two previously working together on the wildly successful Peacemaker series.
We cannot wait to see what Gunn and company have in store for the third, and likely final, Guardians of the Galaxy installment!
