BREAKING: Marvel Debuts First Official ‘She/Hulk’ Trailer!
With fans anxiously awaiting any update to the upcoming series for the iconic character, Marvel has finally debuted the first official She/Hulk trailer…and it was awesome!
Jennifer Walters remains one of Marvel’s most exciting characters; with her connection to the iconic gamma-radiated hero, and unique place in the Marvel Universe, she has constantly been an interesting fan favorite.
An attorney who fights for the rights of the superpowered community of the Marvel Universe, Walters has been a consistent presence in the Marvel comics universe since her creation in 1980 at the hands of the iconic Stan Lee and John Buscema.
She has all of the power that is attributed to a hero like Hulk, while also being markedly different than the character; with Walter’s She-Hulk often being much smarter and cognisant where Hulk is brooding and monstrous.
With the character’s long-awaited MCU debut slated for the Studios’ fourth phase, Marvel has finally debuted the first official She/ Hulk trailer!
Showing off Tatiana Maslany’s Jennifer Walters, the first trailer finally gave fans what they have been clamoring for since its announcement; as it showed off Walters’s She/Hulk form plentifully.
Although the CGI of the series does seem a little off at times, the technology still works brilliantly to capture Maslany’s wit and charm as the character; something that is absolutely vital to the live-action adaption of a character like She/ Hulk.
The trailer also showed off that Walters will share the similar storyline that she was involved in throughout the source material, with her being a lawyer specializing in cases involving the superhero community.
Showing off Tim Roth’s Abomination and Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner, it seems as though the series will have its fair share of cameos and appearances, all working to further the narrative of Walters’s growing presence in the MCU.
It will be interesting to see how the series explores how Walters first acquires the powers, and how it will develop her very own niche in the Marvel universe; outside of characters like Banner and Abomintaiton.
