Ms. Marvel’s AvengersCon Could Become Real
In a recent interview with the creative heads behind the series, it was revealed that Ms. Marvel’s Avengerscon could one day become real.
It is a highly-anticipated series that will bring one of the most beloved characters of the Marvel universe, Kamala Khan, to life in her very own Disney+ project.
The charming and endearing character is one of the universe’s most relatable heroes, as she is just a Muslim American girl from Jersey City who just so happen to be thrust into the world of superheroes and villains; a world she knows all too well.
A quality of hers that is incredibly relatable has always been Kamala’s love and obsession with all things Marvel; as she has been so perfect in representing those of us who find so much joy in the world of Marvel comics.
One huge aspect of the show has been the long-rumored AvengersCon; a convention event that will celebrate the entire Marvel Universe for the people who exist within it, and an event that is certainly a focus of Kamala herself.
In a recent interview with some of the creative visionaries behind the series, it seems as though Ms. Marvel’s AVengersCon could become real; with the idea spawning the curiosity of those who created it.
As reported by ComicBook.com, MCU architect Kevin Feige and Ms. Marvel head writer Bisha K. Ali were asked if the event could become real, to which Feige stated, “We were talking about that on set.”
Ali continued, noting, “It was very cathartic for all of us to see that and we were shooting Spider-Man: No Way Home on the stage right next door, the scene with the three Spideys. The crew from that movie kept sneaking over to see [AvengersCon]. I think that might be fun to do sometime. Yes.”
It would certainly be an unforgettable event and would exist akin to something like Lucasfilm’s annual Star Wars Celebration event; something that Marvel has undoubtedly earned to this point.
