‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ Arriving to Disney+ in IMAX Extended Format

What has easily been the biggest film of the summer is on its way to the Disney exclusive streaming service, and it will be giving fans an incredible bonus as Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is arriving at Disney+ in IMAX Extended format.

A movie that came with an incredible amount of expectations and questions, Marvel’s next great had finally arrived to thunderous applause from Marvel fans everywhere.

Truly taking advantage of the madness in the multiverse, the Sam Raimi-helmed project was easily among the best box office performers of the year thus far and featured plenty of fantastic and memorable Marvel Cinematic Universe moments that will surely live in the minds of Marvel fans for a long time.

Setting Marvel’s resident sorcerer in the MCU’s first true horror film was a sight to behold, and delivered a phenomenal bookend to the multiversal story arc that has been a focus of the current Phase Four.

With the film currently including its theatrical run, many fans are already looking ahead toward its Disney+ debut, which has already been announced.

More news has come out about that impending debut, however, as it has been reported that Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is arriving at Disney+ in IMAX extended format.

It was a story brought to light first by ComicBook.com, which noted that the Disney+ app itself states the film will be available June 22, 2022, in the special IMAX enhanced version that was delivered to so many theaters, and greatly enhanced the viewing experience for those audiences.

If there was ever a Marvel film that would really benefit from the altered ratio the IMAX format has to offer, it was Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, as Sam Raim truly orchestrated a beautiful film.
