THE COLLECTORS: This Week in Comics [June 27, 2022]
It is that time of the week once again everyone, where we break down everything arriving in Marvel comics this week in our continued COLLECTORS series.
Although it is a rather slow week, we still have a brand new series, and two iconic characters being explored in their very own entries; so buckle up, this is the COLLECTORS!
Thor: Lightning and Lament #1

With the character’s iconic fourth MCU Film- Thor: Love and Thunder– set for a theatrical debut in just a few weeks, what better way for COLLECTORS to commemorate the occasion than by picking up this brand new Thor series.
From Ralph Macchio and Todd Nauck, the series sees the God of Thunder leave Asgard to the rule of Loki; which leaves its destiny unsure after an onslaught by a legion of trolls threatens its existence.

Everyone’s favorite Symbiote has returned in a series that presents a reimagined take on the iconic anti-hero that is a must-have for COLLECTORS of all kinds this week.
With David Micheline returning to the character he co-created alongside artist Ivan Fiorelli, Marvel fans are treated to the continuation of a story that brings to life a Venom that is quite unlike any that we’ve seen before
Star Wars: Obi-Wan #2

Star Wars COLLECTORS everywhere need to get here hands on this brand new continuation of Marvel’s exploration of galaxies far far away, that tells the story of one of the most iconic characters that the universe has ever introduced.
Christopher Cantwell and artist Luke Ross continue this story of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s early years as a padawan alongside Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jin in a story that is a must-read for Star Wars fans.

A slow week for Marvel comics didn’t stop the unveiling of a few tremendous variant covers; with a Star Wars: Darth Vader #24 cover in honor of Pride month being high on our list, we just couldn’t overlook recommending this spectacularly done Venom variant to COLLECTORS
Kyle Hotz brings to life the true animalistic qualities of the beloved character in this cover that feels very retro, but also true to just who Venom is.
