The film that brought so many unexpected moments that are assuredly some of the most memorable of Phase Four thus far, could’ve had a gruesome moment added on, as director Sam Raimi confirms Doctor Strange 2 deleted scene that would’ve been a horrific death.
It was among the most anticipated films in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and had fans anxiously awaiting what was seemingly endless possibilities for what could unfold in its boundless premise.

Easily standing as the first true horror film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe almost included an additional, and undeniably terrifying scene, as director Sam Raimi confirms a Doctor Strange 2 deleted scene that would feature a horrific death.
It was reported by ComicBook.com, that Sam Raimi himself stated that the villainous Scarlet Witch mean to, “kill [Mordo] and cut his head off… [and] presented it to Strange in a later scene.”

The deleted scene in question was one we reported on previously, in which the Scarlet Witch would sever the head of Baron Mordo, and unveil it before Doctor Strange in a scene that would foreshadow the tremendous danger that she would place on the characters in the film.
It would have been a tremendous scene that certainly executed in showcasing how powerful Scarlet Witch is, but the film perfectly accomplishes this without that scene included.
