Marvel Fans Debate Who Should Play the MCU’s Reed Richards
It was one of the most interesting cameos of the unexpected Doctor Strange 2 and may stand as one of the coolest surprises of Phase Four to date; but it also sparked massive controversy amidst the community, as Marvel fans debate who should play the MCU’s, Reed Richards.
There was not much promised for fans prior to the arrival of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, only that the film would stretch the very limits of the multiverse, and it would be chalked full of surprises; and it delivered on both.

Perhaps the biggest surprise in the film was the arrival of John Krasinski’s Reed Richards, a fan-casting that had been a dream for MCU viewers for years was brought to light, only to be eliminated by the wrath of Wanda Maximoff just a few minutes later.
With Fantastic Four set to be the final film of the Phase Four slate, Krasinski’s appearance sparked debate between Marvel fans as to who should play the MCU’s, Reed Richards.
This would be the dumbest choice of Kevin Feige’s career, if John Krasinski isn’t the MCU Reed Richards.

There are two camps in regard to who Marvel Studios should cast to bring the iconic Marvel hero to life, both equally as loud and opinionated; those who believe Krasinski is perfect for the role, and those who are clamoring for anyone else.
It has become an interesting divide among Marvel fans, and one that speaks to both the immense popularity of Marvel’s first family and the super genius that is Reed Richards; his appearance is likely to be a Seminole moment for both Phase Four and the MCU moving forward.

At this point, there is so little known about what fans can expect out of the MCU adaption of the Fantastic Four, with no writer or director yet attached to the project; but it doesn’t stop one of the most popular activities of any fandom, fan casting.
We here at MarvelBlog are firmly in favor of Krasinski being cast as the iconic Marvel hero, but also have full faith in Marvel Studios to cast the perfect actor to bring the hero to life in the Marvel Universe.
