Marvel Gives First Look at Namor and Others in Upcoming Black Panther Sequel
It is a film that is as shrouded in mystery as perhaps any Marvel Cinematic Universe entry has been, as fans have been anxiously awaiting any updates; which they have finally uncovered, as Marvel gives a first look at Namor and Others in the upcoming Black Panther sequel.
In the decade-plus history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as an entity, there is perhaps not a single film that has been exposed to the kind of unfortunate realities like that of the highly-anticipated Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
It is a film that absolutely exists within its very own stratosphere in the world of the MCU, as it has experienced setback after setback, time and time again, for the majority of its production; as it desperately attempts to arrive in earnest conjunction with the massive expectation from fans.
Undeniably being among the MCU’s most enigmatic productions, the film that has lost its eponymous character due to the tragedy of the performer’s death, we know that the film is likely to feature one of Marvel comics’ age-old feuds.
With the film being long rumored to introduce the world of Atlantis to the MCU, fans officially got their very first taste of what that could look like, as Marvel has given its first look at Namor and others in the upcoming Black Panther.
As seen on what appears to be various merchandise and promo art leaks, there are images that feature characters like Shuri, Okoye, Namor, and Attuma, and their designs will likely be showcased in the long-awaited sequel film.

There is a lot to unpack about the designs, with the chief among them being the very interesting- and, quite honestly, brilliant- take on the character of Namor, his roots, and how he will be adapted into the live-action Marvel Universe.
Portrayed by Tenoch Huerta, the character clearly is rooted in Mayan culture, with him and the villainous Attuma presenting a very intriguing Atlantean people.
