Tamashii Nations Tokyo 2022 Event Gives a Sneak Peek of Upcoming Marvel Figures!
Popular Japan-based Tamashii Nations held their annual figure exhibition, ‘ Tamashii Nations Tokyo 2022’! So many beautiful figures were on display, including some fantastic Marvel figures!
Tamashii Nations is a popular Tokyo-based specialized division of toy manufacturer Bandai. Famous for its astonishing super-poseable figures, Tamashii Nations has established itself as a unique toy product that caters to many comic, movie, video game, and anime series with super-poseable figures and exquisite statues.
While many great figures were on display for Tamashii Nations, we here at Marvel Blog were definitely focused on the two breathtaking Marvel S.H. Figuarts that were on display! A new Venom figure taken from his appearance in Venom 2: Let There Be Carnage and an interesting new Tech-On Avengers Symbiote Wolverine!

The Tamashii Nations S.H. Figuarts Venom was simply stunning. Mirroring Venom’s appearance in Venom 2, Venom is done in an all-black color scheme and adorned with white vein-like elements throughout the upper torso and arms. This replicates Venom’s appearance in the film perfectly, holding all the key aspects from the film.
Perhaps the most noticeable feature is Venom’s trademark tongue draped out of his menacing mouth. The figure recreates venom’s visage menacingly. Additionally, the figure has a myriad of articulation points allowing you to pose it in various ways, or pose it in your favorite movie pose!
The next figure is Tech-On Symbiote Wolverine! Based on the Avengers: Tech-On comics, a sentai-inspired series created in collaboration with Bandai Namco Japan. In an alternate reality in which all heroes have lost their superpowers and seek out Tony Stark to help build new armors to allow the heroes to continue the fight.
The Tech-On Wolverine is even more bizarre in that not only is this form of Wolverine unique with mecha-style armor, reminiscent of Japan’s Gundam series, but Wolverine is also taken over by Venom’s symbiote. Combining three perplexing elements to give you one phenomenal figure!
The figure is done in a sleek black color scheme with white venom veins, similar to the other Venom figure, exhibited on Wolverine’s helmet. A touch of Venom’s pink tongue color can be seen in the tubes connecting Wolverine’s back to his abdomen. The figure is ultra-poseable and looks to be ready for any type of action.
These two upcoming figures will be available to pre-order sometime this year, and then available to buy some time in 2023. Both figures are great for Venom fans or collectors of S.H. Figurarts or Marvel in general. They will look fantastic in a collection and can be posed in an almost infinite number of ways.
The Tech-On Avengers figures by Tamashii Nations have other figures within its line and this wolverine would be a splendid addition! The Avengers: Tech-On comics recently came to a close with the 6th issue in February of this year, though I encourage all Marvel readers to check out this unique series!
