Tatiana Maslany Breaks Silence on Becoming ‘She/ Hulk’
With the upcoming series’ first official trailer arriving a couple of months ago, fans have been anxiously awaiting any news of what should be one of Marvel’s funniest projects to date; and with the character set to arrive very soon, Jennifer Walters herself, Tatiana Maslany, breaks her silence on She/ Hulk.
Throughout the vast history of the Marvel Cinematic Univers, and the even more vast pantheon of Marvel heroes that have arrived in the source material, there are few that are as interesting and unique within their own world as that of Jennifer Walters.

Speaking in an Empire exclusive on Walters, Maslany stated, “She really is the antithesis of most superhero narratives. There’s this great element of denial in her that’s relatable.”
Maslany added, “For me, it was about rejecting what’s happened for as long as I could, as that’s what causes the fun tension between Jennifer and She-Hulk.”
Speaking on the context of the series, the veteran actor stated, “She in a career that’s male-dominated and incredibly vicious and hierarchal. When she’s heading this superhuman firm, that’s where we get some really fun characters that she’s either defending or in opposition of.”
Maslany concluded by stating the series is, “Like this really absurd take on a legal show,” which should absolutely intrigue every Marvel fan, as that is something that the MCU hasn’t explored, and should be tremendously compelling.
