When Will ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ Debut on Disney+?
It has become a point of emphasis for every single Marvel film, as the arrival of the Disney-exclusive streaming service has made it important to assess the length of any Disney film’s theatrical release window; which has led us to ask when will Thor: Love and Thunder debut on Disney+?
The newest Marvel adventure is arriving officially tomorrow, and signifies what is a record-setting fourth solo film for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and is easily one of the more anticipated entries of the MCU’s lauded Phase Four slate.

The film will be Marvel’s second release in 2022 thus far, and the second of their summer releases; arriving just before the promotional campaign for the long-awaited Black Panther: Wakanda Forever begins to unveil prior to its November release date.
As with any Marvel project- and any Disney project in general- one factor of consideration that is important to report is the size of any film release window, as the presence of the Disney-exclusive streaming platform means the windows are often much shorter than they otherwise would be.

So, we ask the very important question; when will Thor: Love and Thunder debut on Disney?
The most important aspect in delineating when the film will make its streaming debut is observing whether or not Marvel has embraced a pattern in a post-pandemic market; which is something that has been difficult to quantify based on their past releases.

Outside of Black Widows’ dual release, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness had the shortest theatrical release window of just 47 days prior to arriving on Disney+; which makes sense when we consider how quickly Thor: Love and Thunder was to follow it up.
This is very different from a film like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, which featured a 70-day theatrical release window.

With Doctor Strange 2 being the most recent, many would assume that it would follow that pattern, but with no film slated to release for the rest of the summer, we would assume that Thor: Love and Thunder would probably maintain a presence in theaters until the middle of September.
