Lets Talk about that ‘Ms. Marvel’ Post-Credit Scene
The newest Marvel series has brought to life one of the most excited new heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and along with her debut came the excitement of her impending participation in the upcoming Captain Marvel sequel; so, let’s talk about that post-credit scene.
There hasn’t been a Marvel series that has been as critically well received as the most recent MCU project that debuted on Disney+, Ms. Marvel.
The series brilliantly brought to life one of the most beloved heroes of the comics and did so in a way that felt as though it perfectly encapsulated the creativity and uniqueness of this fantastic character.
It was a long-awaited arrival, but this series has finally brought Kamala Khan into the MCU, and her appearance is the last piece of the fastly approaching The Marvels; a Captian Marvel sequel that will see Carvol Danvers, Kamala Khan, and Monica Rambeau team up to stop an unknown, intergalactic, threat.
With the excitement over that film growing by the day, let’s talk about that Ms. Marvel post-credit scene, and how it could foreshadow the events of the upcoming film.
As we are going to be discussing the post-credit scene, this is a warning that SPOILERS are incoming; YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
The post-credit scene featured none other than Brie Larson herself, in a scene that showed Kamala Khan responding oddly to something unknown occurring with the bangle that she uses to manifest her powers.
The scene culminated in what seemed to be Kamala getting thrown into her closet door, and when the figure raised from the shattered door, it actually appeared to be none other than Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers.
So, what does this say about the incoming ‘The Marvels’ film and even the very nature of the bangle that Kamala wears? Well, it says quite a bit.
The last we saw Carol Danvers, she was speaking to Shang-Chi and Wong regarding the recently uncovered Ten Rings, a divide with mythical origins that was actually serving as a beacon to the cosmos; this post-credit scene could show that the Ten Rings arent the only ancient device doing such.
If we had to guess, we’d say that the bangle is a similar device to the Ten Rings, and it somehow transported Captain Marvel ahead of the film should allow the two heroes to inevitably cross paths.
