Marvel Debuts New Poster and Trailer for ‘I Am Groot’
With San Diego Comic-Con bringing Marvel Studios back to the lauded Hall H, and the animation panel taking place to delve deeper into what fans can expect from Disney+ in the coming years, Marvel has debuted the first poster and trailer for the upcoming I Am Groot.
It is among the animated Marvel projects that is the most intriguing for fans, as it doesn’t delve into a character like Spider-Man, or carry on the long tradition of a series developed in the 1990s, but instead chronicle the happenings of one of the most adored Marvel characters in the MCU.
The innocent and unpredictable adventures of Groot is sure to be one of the more interesting projects to come from the Marvel Studios animation department and is sure to be a good change of pace from the usual canonization of the MCU as most have become concerned.
With the animation panel occurring yesterday, fans got a brand new poster and trailer for the upcoming I Am Groot, as it was the very first project discussed by Brad Winderbaum and the entire team of people behind these various series, specifically Kristen Lepore.

As reported by ComicBook.com, Lepore discussed the process of developing the series by discussing what was the core question asked by the creative team; “What are the most universal activities we do as kids that we can relate to?”
Lepore continued, “I have a three-year-old son so others a lot of inspiration I can take, Groot, is like him.” which spoke about the premise of the series surrounding this younger version of the character and his various adventures.

Lepore continued on the panel, stating, “We did get to record, Vin Diesel, for the voice of Groot and I will say we also had a fantastic performance of Bradley Cooper. There’s gonna be some familiar places and faces.”
The panel also showed the entire first episode, with six in total arriving in the series’ first full season, and we cannot wait to see the hijinks of Groot ensue.
