High Evolutionary Confirmed as Villain of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’
There were rumors and rumblings circulating around just who could be the force of opposition for the upcoming final chapter of the current incarnation of the MCU’s favorite space bounty hunters, as the High Evolutionary has now been confirmed as the villain of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
Marvel had finally made their triumphant return to San Dego Comic-Con and the beloved Hall H, after a two-year hiatus that took place due to COVID-19 forcing the postponing of the event; and it was a return that will certainly be among the most memorable ever.

With fans, and Marvel themselves, desperately missing the tradition that San Diego Comic-Con had become, this was the chance for the Marvel Cinematic Universe to be primed for the next big phase of films that would set the entire franchise on a course for the future.
Despite anticipation being at an all-time high, Marvel somehow found a way to exceed expectations, and deliver an event that not only restructured Phase Four, and uncover all that was set to arrive in Phase Five, but also delved into what could be coming in Phase Six!

Amidst the massive reshuffling, movie announcements, and redefining of the project’s slated release dates, there was one big moment that confirmed what was in store for everyone’s favorite band of space bandits, as we now know who will be the villainous opposition of James Gunn’s concluding epic.
Announced during the portion of the panel that was exploring the upcoming film was the revelation that The Hight Evolutionary would, indeed, be the villain of the upcoming Gaurdaisn fo the Galaxy Vol. 3, and he would be played by the rumored Chukwudi Iwuji.

The panel expressed that this upcoming third film would be the final for this current incarnation of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the presence of the High Evolutionary would mean that the film will delve deep into the origins of Rocket Racoon.
The film has a plethora of reasons for fans to be excited and will not only see the end of the series as it currently constituted, but present a new future for characters like Adam Warlock, and some of the current Guardians.
