D23 Announces Avengers Campus Expansion
One of the biggest Marvel experiences on the planet is getting that much bigger, as D23 Expo has just announced an Avengers Campus Expansion!
There are few endeavors that have been as wonderfully received or fantastically executed as Disneyland’s California Adventure’s Avengers Campus.

It has been one of the biggest Marvel projects in recent years, and it so brilliantly brought the Marvel cinematic Universe to life for so many fans from around the world.
With countless Avengers and Marvel heroes appearing and meeting guests, the land has continued to develop and evolve since its unveiling.

But now, it appears as though Disney is set to grow the iconic land even more so, as this year’s D23 Expo has announced an Avengers Campus expansion that will bring even more Marvel magic to the theme park.
Although there are few specifics in place as of now, Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Chapek took the stage at the Disney Legends Ceremony to announce the plans for growth.

A Tweet posted by Disney Parks stated, “During the Legends Ceremony at #D23Expo, CEO Bob Chapek shared that Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure is expanding with a third attraction with a brand-new story that will bring guests into battle alongside their favorite superheroes.”
We know that some plans are already in place, with more information to come in subsequent announcement panels over the course of the weekend.

The biggest question following the announcement is just what attractions could be incoming for the land, with there seemingly being an endless list of possibilities.
With the recent conclusion of Captain Marvel and Iron Man-themed roller coaster at Disneyland Paris, could the ride make its way to the West Coast?

There is also the potential that the recent debut Epcot attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind could find its second home in the Disneyland park.
And there is also the potential that the new attraction could be an all-new, original experience from the Imagineers who first brought Avengers Campus to life.
