Marvel Officially Announced for D23
It was heavily rumored for next month’s massive Walt Disney exclusive event, and it has now come to fruition, as Marvel is officially announced for D23, with the recent press release detailing what fans can expect from the festivities.
After two years following postponement, San Diego Comic-Con had finally returned, and there at its first time back, Marvel Studios took the stage at the lauded Hall H, and once again gave fans an unforgettable panel on par with some of their biggest announcements ever.
Not only did Kevin Feige break down some alterations and restructuring of Phase Four, but he also delved deep into Phase Five, and then touched on Phase Six, with the massive film franchise planned deep into the future with two massive Avengers films on the horizon.
There were plenty of concerns from fans when the event was approaching, with many unsure of how much would be announced with a Disney-specific event just two months away; but now, the fear has completely gone the other way, as upcoming events may not have as much substance following SDCC
That concern has gotten all the more real, as Marvel has officially been announced for D23, with a press release pointing to a jam-packed schedule that should excite audiences for some brand new information arriving for Marvel Universe fans.
The press release announced a Hall D23 presentation for September 10th, stating that, “filmmakers, celebrity talent, and surprise guests from Marvel Studios will join Lucasfilm and others onstage in Hall D23 to showcase theatrical and Disney+ titles.”
The release went on to state, “Going behind the scenes of these studios’ highly anticipated films, specials, and series, attendees will see exclusive footage and be among the first to learn what’s in the works.”
Although there will likely not be as much content come from this event as there was for San Diego Comic-Con, there is certainly a lot planned for Marvel Studios as this next opportunity for the Marvel fanbase to see more of what to come.
