‘Ms. Marvel’ Cinematographer Talks Potential Season 2
A series that has not only been the live-action debut of one of Marvel’s most beloved characters but is the highest-rated project in the history of the MCU, many have wondered if it could continue, as the Ms. Marvel cinematographer talks about the potential season 2.
There are few characters in the Marvel Universe that are as beloved- and in as short an amount of time- as Kamala Khan, who has both debuted in the Marvel comics universe and in the film universe, in the span of time that the MCU as a whole has existed.

A character that so brilliantly combined her very specific experience as a Muslim-American teenager with the relateablitiy of her obsession with the Marvel Universe; with her eventually gaining superpowers to become a member of that universe of heroes.
Her character was adapted with high expectations, as her status as a fan favorite had fans eager to see her done justice in this massive world, and despite those expectations, what Marvel delivered in her very own Disney+ series somehow exceeded them.

The project arrived to rather inconsistent viewership numbers, and eventually ended as the highest-rated Marvel project ever developed, and with that success, there are many who wonder if the character could return in a follow-up season.
Despite the knowledge that she will be returning in The Marvels, Ms. Marvel cinematographer, Jules O’Loughlin, talked about a potential season 2 following fan demand for such.

Speaking to ComicBook.com, O’Loughlin stated, “Listen, hand on heart, I can honestly say that at this stage, I haven’t heard of any plans for a Season 2.”
O’Loughlin continued, “There’s so much going on with Marvel and there’s stuff happening and popping up all the time, but I haven’t heard of anything, Sharmeen hasn’t heard of anything. The next thing for Iman and the character of Kamala is to be in The Marvels.”

The cinematographer concluded, stating, “But at this stage, there hasn’t been any talk of a season two on Ms. Marve;,” which could sadden some fans but shouldn’t be a massive issue considering Kamala is already slated to return in some form or fashion for the foreseeable future.
