Oscar Isaac and Moon Knight Director Tease a Season Two
There are few Marvel projects that have achieved the heights of this year’s Marvel series, and with the open-endedness of the finale, and fans’ adoration for the character, it seems like Oscar Isaac and the Moon Knight director have teased a potential season two.
When Black Panther: Wakanda Forever arrives in theaters this November, there will have been 30 projects that release in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and among all of them, there have been few that have reached the narrative heights of Moon Knight.
A series centered on one of the smaller characters in the history of Marvel comics, there was significant apprehension from Marvel fans as the character of Marc Spector was set to be adapted to the ever-growing pantheon of Marvel heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
A lot of fans wondered how it would work, and if it would fit in the current construct of the MCU, but all of those qualms and questions soon dissipated when the series finally did arrive on Disney+, and birth what is easily among the most complex characters that the MCU had ever seen.
With the excellence of the project, many fans have been clamoring for the story’s continuation, but with previous reports stating that it isn’t a priority for Marvel Studios at this time, there may have been some news that could point to the contrary is true.
Taking to social media, both Oscar Isaac and Moon Knight director Mohammed Diab, and teased a potential season two in the works for the Marvel hero, as they were featured on a Tik Tok hitting at the possibility.
As reported by ComicBook.com, the Tik Tok shows an individual wondering aloud if there will be a season 2, when the camera then pans over to show Diab, and then Isaac, who states, “What else would we be doing in Cairo?”
The entire event seemed like it could either be a comedic play on fans’ anticipation for a season 2, or an actual showcasing of the duo having some friendly banter about what they want to achieve in a follow-up campaign.
Either way, we cannot wait to see what is in store for this character and hope that Marvel does follow through in bringing him back to the MCU.
