Giancarlo Esposito Confirms Talks with Marvel and Reveals Who he Wants to Play
With the massive announcement that took place during Marvel’s return to the stage at San Diego Comic-Con, there is no shortage of characters set to debut in the MCU, and actor Giancarlo Esposito has confirmed his talks with Marvel, while also revealing the character he’d most like to play.
It had been two years since Marvel Studios was last able to make an appearance at the adored pop culture event that has housed some of its most important historical announcements, and become something of a tradition for fans of the ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe.
That iconic return to the stage was met with a lot of worries from fans, as there was apprehension about how much Feige and company would be able to share about the future; but that ended up not being the case, as this may have been the biggest announcement of the companies history.
Not only did Feige take the stage to announce a restructured Phase Four, but he also laid out Marvel plans for the next two phases of films; projects that would include the arrival of characters like the Fantastic Four, and massive events like Secret Wars.
All of that to say, this is a golden time for Marvel, and with the massive influx of characters arriving in the coming years, there is no shortage of actors required, and one beloved performer has recently addressed his experience, and his desire, to work with Marvel in the future.

It was recently reported by Discussing Film, who shared a Tik Tok that featured Esposito at a Convention event sharing details about the meeting, and after discussing how he perceives the characters he plays, announced that the hero he would most like to play is Professor X.
Esposito would certainly be a unique version of the character,r but would represent a very intriguing and refreshing take on the hero for the MCU.
