She/ Hulk is now on… Tinder?
It has to be one of the coolest forms of marketing that Marvel has done in recent years, as they have promoted their upcoming Disney+ series in the unlikeliest of places, as Jennifer Walters’ She/ Hulk is now officially on… Tinder?
There are few Marvel characters as interesting as Jennifer Walters, and even fewer that carry with her the kind of unique perspective that has defined her long-lasting run in the world of Marvel comics; a world that will now be adapted to the lauded MCU.
What is most interesting is that Walters is both a lawyer dedicated to protecting the innocent in the courtroom, while also being gifted with the powers of a Hulk, and defending the universe as a superhero under the name of She-Hulk.
From what we’ve seen from various pieces of promotional material for the upcoming Disney+ series, one thing is absolutely clear; She/ Hulk is primed to introduce a whole new kind of project to the Marvel Cinematic Universe that hasn’t been seen before.
A young lawyer who is attempting to figure out her career, conquer young adulthood, and grapple with all of the problems so many of us her age face; her entire journey gets all the more complicated after a car accident infuses her blood with that of her cousin Bruce.
But outside of her journey, it is the comedic function of the series- and how that will play out in the format of a 30-minute legal comedy- stand her patented fourth wall breaking that allows the series sto take up residence as one of the MCU’s most interesting.
Well, it seems Marvel has approached the marketing with the same sense of uniqueness as She/ Hulk is officially now on… Tinder?
Disney has set up a #SheHulk Tinder profile to promote the upcoming series.

That’s right, reported by Discussing Film in a Tweet earlier today, Twitter user @jozopath uploaded an ad that comes up on the popularized dating app, which shows that the Marvel hero has her own mock profile that encourages people to view the series.
We don’t know about all of you, but this is certainly some of the most creative marketing that Marvel has done, and fits this series perfectly.
