‘She/ Hulk’ Star Wants a Deadpool Crossover
Fans have been vocal about their excitement to see Jennifer Walters finally make her debut in the lauded MCU, and with recent trailers exploring her penchant to break the fourth wall, She/ Hulk star Tatiana Maslany already wants a Deadpool crossover.
There are a lot of factors that make the impending She/ Hulk project for Disney+ one of the most interesting projects for Marvel Studios and the ever-growing Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It is a series that breaks the usual Marvel series mold of having a single-digit number of episodes each ranging anywhere from 45 minutes to over an hour; instead opting for more episodes that each will clock in at around 30 minutes an entry.
Aside from that, the series will also differ greatly in how it is rooted firmly in its comedic value, as it is seeking to take the character of Jennifer Walter and be true to the incredibly entertaining presence that she consistently was in the source material.
All of that partnered with her unique perspective as a superhero, and a lawyer, has made Walter among Marvel’s most unique, but it is her most interesting quality that makes her perhaps the most unique; and that is her ability to break the fourth wall.
Something that has come up in recent railers, and has some fans rebelling because of how that ability has already been utilized by Wade Wilson in his two Fox films, there is no rule saying they both cant share the ability; and She/ Hulk star Tatiana Maslany already wants a Deadpool crossover.
Yet, Maslany noted that it inst all about the ability to fourth-wall break, as in her conversation reported by ComicBook.com, she shared a rather personal reason why she would want the collaboration between the two heroes.
“There’s a very meta thing.” Maslany stated, “Deadpool is from Regina, Saskatchewan, right? Isnt he? Which is where I am from. So like, this was a meant-to-be situation.
What would a scene look like between She-Hulk & Deadpool where they are both breaking the fourth wall?
I asked Tatiana Maslany and her idea sounds awesome. #SheHulk cc: @VancityReynolds pic.twitter.com/7EQsMCVbk6

Maslany added, “I think we should both be in Regina, but I’m Tat in Regina and Deadpool is Deadpool but then it’s Ryan Reynolds and She-Hulk, and we get really freaky with it,”
The idea is so perfect for the two characters and the world that they inhabit, it would make for some of the most entertaining content that the MCU could offer.
