Brand New Poster for ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ Surfaces
The beloved animated film franchise from Sony Pictures was one of many films that suffered from a delay in its production date, and with a lot of the film’s merchandise and promotional material planned already, a brand new poster for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has surfaced.
There are few comic book adaptations that have achieved the level of adoration that came to Sony’s animated epic, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
It was a film that brought the story of Miles Morales to the big screen, adapting his origin, while crafting a story that celebrated the tremendous impact that the character and mantle of Spider-Man have had on so many of us.
The movie was an undeniable success, and to this day is seen by many as one of the greatest comic book adaptations of all time; overflowing with the creativity, character focus, and brilliant action sequences perfectly befitting a story that drew its inspiration from the world of comic books.
With the overwhelming success of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse came the frantic desire for Sony to develop a follow-up that was equally as vibrant, creative, and fulfilling; and work seemingly immediately began on the sequel project.
Although that film was set to arrive this year, like most projects conceived in the pandemic era, it was delayed, and with a lot of merchandise and promotional material slowly coming out, a brand new Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse poster has surfaced.

The poster in question features the two characters that were the main part of the trailer that was released earlier this year, with Miles Morales now grown-up Spider-Man facing off against Spider-Man 2099; a character who is poised to be a very important part of the sequel.
Spider-MAn 2099 is played by none other than Oscar Isaac, who was teased to appear in the post-credits scene of the original film; and is putting a team of Spider-people together to stop an impending threat to the entire multiverse.
