D23 Will Feature Live Streamed Disney & Marvel Games Showcase
For the first time in the history of one of the Walt Disney Companies’ biggest days of the year, fans will be able to tune in live to see some of the biggest updates in the world of video games from two iconic brands, as D23 will feature a live streaming Disney & Marvel games showcase.
It isn’t an understatement to say that Marvel as a brand has become one of the most successful on the planet, not just for its near endless history in the comic book industry, or its dominance of the current film landscape, but also for what it has accomplished in the world of video games.

Some of the most popular and beloved video games on the planet have occurred under the Marvel banner, including one of the biggest games of the current gen era, Spider-Man; a series that sees gamers take control of Peter Parker, and Miles Morales, in their own adventures as the web-slinger.
That was followed up by the highly-anticipated Marvel’s Avengers, which allowed users to take control of any host of Avengers heroes including Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Kamala Khan, and many others.

Now, with that world expanding continuously, it has just been announced that D23 will feature a live-streamed Disney & Marvel games showcase, which will see the brand’s biggest potential releases shown to fans for the very first time.
A press release for the event stated, “The digital showcase will feature incredible new content from Disney & Pixar games, Marvel Games, Lucasfilm Games, and 20th Century Fox Games.”

It continued, “In addition to all-new announcements, fans can expect new reveals from titles including Disney Dreamlight Valley, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and a sneak peek at the upcoming Marvel ensemble game from Skydance New Media.”
The event will be streamed for fans on September 9th, at 1 pm PT, and will be hosted by Kinda Funny’s Blessing Adeoye Jr.; we cannot wait to see what Disney and Marvel have in store for Marvel gamers everywhere!
