‘She/Hulk’ Director Says Daredevil is Last MCU Cameo
Even with the MCU’s newest series is just in its third episode, there is no denying that a pattern of sorts has been developing, and although it will likely continue till its end, it won’t in the way that we think, as She/Hulk director, Kat Coiro, says Daredevil is the last MCU cameo.
It may still be in its infancy, but it’s safe to say that the latest project of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is an undeniable success with just three out of its reported nine installments already airing for subscribers of the Disney+ streaming service.
There has been plenty of hilarity that has ensued over these three weeks of episodes, and one thing is absolutely certain, this is a series that brings something brand new to the table; as it is a comedy that boasts a self-awareness that hasn’t been typically for the MCU so far.
Still, with the three episodes, two things are made very clear, and that being that Tatiana Maslany is primed to be a mainstay in the MCU for years and that the formula of the series will introduce some incredible guest stars along the way.
That, however, may not continue in the way that fans think, as She/Hulk director Kat Coiro, has recently stated that Daredevil will be the last MCU cameo, and is also the biggest secret that the project had going into its release
Speaking to TVLine, Coiro stated, “Daredevil remains the biggest surprise that we had, which we let out of the bag at Comic-Con. I am telling you, the relief I felt seeing him pop up on screen in front of all the fans was so huge because for almost a year I’ve been carrying this secret, and I was finally able to breathe.”
She/Hulk writer, Jessica Gao, was then asked about other huge cameos, to which she stated, “No, I don’t want to set people up for disappointment. But I will say that the remaining cameos are cameos from the comics, characters that haven’t been seen in the MCU.”
Although this may be a bummer for some MCU fans, we can’t wait to see who Coiro and Gao are set to introduce to the MCU for the very first time.
